I don't do nearly as much of it as I should, but I do draw and create art-type stuff from time to time. Most of it ends up being either doodles, cartoons, or computer-related. Ah well.

A painting. Done with acrylics. Actual size is 12in x 16in (31cm x 41cm). Began as a lifelike pencil drawing which refused to cooperate. Eventually decided to try something completely different and was (amazingly) pleased with the results. Extreme closeup on eye of a person laying down. Hope that makes sense. Elves go punk. Or, a piercing/tattoo parlor opens up in Mirkwood. *winks* Simplified lines of the back. Done in black ballpoint pen on a yellow legal notepad. Scanned it into Photoshop and removed all the lines. One of the most tedious things I've done in a while. Simple cartoon sketch. Inspired by the fact that I received a peacoat for my birthday. Reminds me of Oz from Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. Charcoal drawing. Very messy to do, required fumey fixatives, but fun. And while the scan isn't the best, I like this piece. Actual size is 14in x 17in (36cm x 43cm).
Series of a character that attacked me a while back. No idea who/what he is. Series of a character that attacked me a while back. No idea who/what he is. Series of a character that attacked me a while back. No idea who/what he is. Series of a character that attacked me a while back. No idea who/what he is. Those fuzzy looking things? No idea what those are either. Series of a character that attacked me a while back. No idea who/what he is. That girl is his friend that showed up a few days after he did. These were flamenco dancers practicing. Started off trying to do it in pencil, in detail, but it didn't work, so I just got the basic movement down in pen and erased all the pencil. Obsession with angels? *looks around shiftily* What obsession with angels? *grins* Another quick scribble. I love these feet though. Don't know what it is about them. Especially that back one.
I couldn't get the face on one of them. But... boys? Girls? Can you tell? Nope. That's one of the things I like about it. I like 'Sandman,' so sue me. There are things I don't like about this, but there are things I really do. Charcoal. Good, messy, fixative-needing charcoal. This one is big. Real big. Now, this scanned dreadfully. I was using a lighter charcoal than usual, and I lost tons of detail when I scanned. Also, it's a lot bigger than this. It's about 14x20 inches, something like that. It started out as Scott from the SECA RPG. It doesn't really look like him, I know, but my boy is pleased that I even tried. Now, when I say I scribbled this down, I really mean it. Less than a minute, tops. The thing actually started off with a hat that I cut off because it was awful. From an article on Middle-eastern women. This was a girl on her wedding day. That's all you could see of her. This was a full page (9x12 inches), and in light pencil. It didn't translate very well once I scanned it. There's a lot of light details that you can't see in the scan. Yeah, this is another one that lost a lot in scanning. But I like it. It just seemed to flow onto the page. Done after someone mentioned something about eating fruit over the sink like a fruit bat. A different take on the Little Red Riding Hood story.
Actual fanart! MadEye Moody from Harry Potter. Had an idea for a while of doing a 'Hamlet' graphic novel. This was my Ophelia. That's as far as I ever got. 'At Ease' - Self-portrait. Pencil in sketchbook. Total drawing time ~10 min. Colored version of 'At Ease' done with airbrush in Photoshop.
